Roy Erratt Annable Dies In 81st Year

A well known district retired farmer, Roy Erratt Annable, died
August 14th, following an illness of three months duration. Mr.
Annable was in his 81st year.

Born in Winchester, a son of the late Charles Annable and his
wife the formor Annie Erratt, he married Bertha Fetterly at Russell in 1908.

Educated at local schools the late Mr. Annable was a former
Deputy Grand Master of the Oddfellows Lodge and also a member of the Orange order.

Surviving besides his wife, are two daughters; Mrs. John Cameron (Dorothy) of Cornwall and Mrs. Gerald Holmes (Doris) of Winchester. Also one brother, Howard of Ottawa and six granddaughters.

Funeral services at Vice and Craig Ltd. Funeral Home, Winchester were conducted by Rev. Dr. J. McKay, Saturday, August 16th, at 3:00 p.m. Pall bearers , were Edward Cayer, Kenneth Annable, Morley Erratt, Raymond Annable, Cecil McKendry and Dalton Robinson.

Honourary bearers were LeRoy Boyd, Bill McRoberts, Elden
Fennell and Stanley Rennick.

Interment was at Maple Ridge Cemetery. ¹³
