Joshua Annable Dead

Word was received by his sisters, Miss Carrie and Miss Susie Annable, yesterday morning of the death of their brother Joshua Annable, who resided at Moose Jaw, Sask. A message was recieved by Mr. Charles Annable on Friday last telling of serious illness of his brother Joshua, of pneumonia, and he left that afternoon for Moose Jaw. Word was recieved on Monday of his safe arrival there, and that the brother had taken a turn for the better, and then the sad message of yeaterday. The funeral took place at Moose Jaw today. 9

The Late Joshua Annable

Brief mention was made last week of the death of Mr. Joshua Annable, of Moose Jaw, Sask. The late Mr. Annable was a native of Winchester, and lived here until about 15 years ago when he moved West. He was a man of great energy and enterprise, and he leaves many friends to mourn his death. The Moose Jaw Evening Times in referring to his death has the following: -- "An old timer of Moose Jaw district passed away this morning in the person of Joshua Annable, at his home 343 Athabasca Street West, at the age of 69 years and 9 months. Deceased was widely know in the Moose Jaw district, where he had carried on farming operations for the past fifteen years. He came to Moose Jaw from Winchester, Ont., and moved into the city from his farm about four years ago.

He is survived by an invalid wife and four daughters, Mrs. A. H. Foulds, Carnduff; Mrs. A. M. Brock, of Wood Mountain; Mrs. John Barber, of Limerick, and Ada at home; also by two brothers and two sisters, Andrew, of Otego, N.Y., and Charles, Carrie and Susie, of Winchester, Ont.

The funearl will take place from the family residence on Thursday afternoon, at 2.00 o'clock, to the Moose Jaw cemetery, Rev. Dr. Eber Crummy conducting the service. 12
