In hospital on Tuesday, June 22, 1982, Christie Mae Annable of Winchester, in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late James Robinson and of the late John Moffatt. Dear mother of Muriel (Mrs. Jack Rennison), Norma (Mrs. Harold Lannin), both of Winchester. Loved by 2 grandchildren, Gail (Mrs. Ray Van Noy) and John Rennison, and by 3 great-grandchildren, Jeffrey, J.D. and Tracey; by 1 sister Ida Steele, all of Winchester.

Resting at the Vice Craig Funeral Home 505 Church Street, Winchester, where service will be held on Thursday, June 24, at 2 p.m. Interment Maple Ridge Cemetery. 5

Christie Moffatt dies at 100

Centenarian Christie Mae Moffatt, 518 Main St., Winchester died in Winchester District Memorial Hospital Tues., June 22.

A native and lifelong resident of Winchester, Mrs. Moffatt was born Nov. 22, 1881, a daughter of Ira and Janet Esther (Christie) Annable and received her education locally. She was a faithful member of Winchester United Church and was a life member of the Women's Institute and the UCW.

Mrs. Moffatt is survived by two daughters, Muriel (Mrs. Jack Rennison), Winchester, and Norma (Mrs. Harold Lannin), Winchester; two grandchildren, Gail (Mrs. Ray VanNoy), Winchester, and John Rennison, Winchester; three greta grandchildren, Jeffrey, J. D., and Tracy and by a sister, Ida Steele, Winchester. She was predeceased by her first husband, James (Nim) Robinson, who died in 1918 and her second husband, John Moffatt, who died in 1941.

Rev. Ernest Royle conducted funeral services from the Vice and Craig Funeral Home, 505 Church St., Winchester at 2pm Thurs., June 24 and interment was at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers were Hugh Eadie, Tom Douglas, Bill McRoberts, Ed Boyd, Don Billings and Gary Annable. Honorary bearers were C.R. Robinson, Wm. McConkey, Percy Douglas and Cecil Johnston. 7
